After taking down the hot dogs, beans, and peanut butter cookies to the beach for the weekly picnic, the truck gets ready
to head back up to the camp. We had to be careful not to drive down the sandy path too far, otherwise we would get stuck in the sand.
But with the 1941 Ford Pickup, with a 4 on the floor stick, it was easy to rock the truck out of the sand. Can't do that with trucks today.
Plus the pickup truck today are so large that it would have been impossible to go places that
we could with the little Ford pickup. In the back of the truck is one of the kitchen girls, Jan Nelson.
