John loading the large pump sprayer into the '41 Ford pickup. The red oak planks were quite strong but we needed the little hill
to level up the ramp. The pump sprayer also was kept in the garage on the south side of the creek for a fire pump and hose,
so it was heavy getting it up the ramp. The garage can be seen in the background. Also just behind the pump is the little
pond with the trellis. Either in 1959 or earlier it was partially filled so the water was only about half a foot deep.
It used to be a round bowl shape and about 2 feet deep in the middle, with water lilies and other water plants. Kids loved
to play around the little pond, so it was filled and turned into a wading pool.
