More traffic coming up from the Darwin Canyon. Su and Hong-Nian on the right. Fifth Darwin Lake in background. The valley extends to the right. Because of the heavy use this cross country trail is receiving, the notch over the ridge is quite worn and the trail is a beaten path. This was not so in the early 80's. The cutover was 100 ft farther to the north and not obvious at all. Wonder if this new notch was forced and 'improved'?
