Activity Registration Information Description (most start at 10:00am)
Local Hike 1 Register with Leader: Sandi Barber (401)440-7039 Start at 11:00am. A leisurely stroll, about 3 miles, through lovely Colt State Park. Learn a little of the park's history along the way. Colt State Park is adjacent to the picnic site.
Local Hike 2 Register with Leader: Jean Marie Josephson kayakjm@yahoo.com, (401)243-4417 Approximately 5-7 miles around Bristol looking at the historical aspects of the town.
Flatwater Paddling** Register with Leader: Linda Pease linda.pease@cox.net, (401)351-2234 We will launch from the park beach and do a shoreline paddle. If windy from the W or SW, we may drive to the other side of Bristol and launch at the Annawamscutt boat launch.
Sea Kayaking** Register with either Leader: Gary Whitney garywhitney3@cox.net, (401)368-7463
or Mike Krabach mkrabach@cox.net (401)333-5350
We will launch from the park beach and maybe paddle to Prudence Island or down to Hog Island. This paddle is suitable for beginners if they have a kayak at least 14 ft in length including watertight bulkheads. Paddlers must be confident in doing a wet exit if they tip over while using a spray skirt. Weather conditions may change our launch or route.
Easy Bike Ride Register with Leader: Steve Harrington sjhep1@hotmail.com, (401) 434-3409 Ride will start at the park and will be mostly on the bike path so easy enough for beginners.
Young Members group run Register with Leader: Rebecca rebeccaswagger@hotmail.com Come and complete a 6-mile loop around Bristol! We will be running along Narragansett Bay for a bit, then through some woodland paths and finally returning to join the rest of the club for a potluck lunch. This is the route we will use. The run will take about an hour. (If you are not technically Young, but still think you are, register for the run.) There is space to play frisbee, or vollyball after the run.

**For those who sincerely want to paddle but do not have a kayak, we can try to arrange for an extra recreational or sea kayak to be on hand. You must have sufficient paddling experience for this offer, and contact Mike Krabach or Linda Pease well in advance for approval and to arrange transportation.
