After leaving the vendor area, I went back to the beach and got my kayak and gear loaded into my car. Then it was so hot still at 1:30 or so that I just went down to the beach and went in for a swim, or mostly a float because the water was only a few feet deep. I then watched the thunderhead develop over Providence, knowing that it would not make it down to our area because of the slight sea breezes keeping it north. It just sort of cut diagonally towards upper Aquidneck Island and finally I drove home. The black area in the lower left is from stitching unframed photos together, but the overall photo shows the thunderstorm better as a panorama.
