Conformity or Confoundity?
To determine the conformity of the Rhode Island Bike Path Rules to other States and municipalities I have searched the internet for hours. The following is my entire list of URL's found that have any specific reference to which way to bike or walk on a bike path. All follow the universally recognized "slow stay right, pass left" convention. The only site found that conforms is the South Kingston, RI site. My personal observations after 18,000 miles of bicycle touring, are that I have never seen bike path rules either posted, alluded to, or being followed, that are similar to Rhode Island's. Anyone is welcome to do more searching. (ed. Mike Krabach)
