Mounting lights on a Helmet with Elastic

The simple device that holds the flashlight to the outer surface of the helmet is a 2” x 1” piece of polyethylene (blue notebook cover in this case). Cut 2 slots and thread a piece of (piece of innertube again!) through the slots. The blue plastic backs up the elastic which is passed through the helmet vent slot, and ties the light to the helmet. The innertube has enough friction to hold the light without slipping, but if you worry, tie another overhand knot.
