The vespers site on the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. In the family camps and youth camps the vespers service would coincide with the sunset.
For every vespers service the small foot pump organ would have to be taken from storage and driven down to the vespers.
Several times when a camper was not available or none could play, I had to play the organ. Yikes, I did not like that, my sight reading was poor.
So I would have to practice the hymns on the Lodge piano first.
