Original styrofoam 1 1/2 inch molded cooler has 2 inches of foam bonded to the inner cooler, giving a total of 3 1/2 inches of foam insulation. The center plastic container is for the ice. It is a modified plastic storage container. An inch of foam is glued on the bottom to adjust the taper to fit the cooler walls, and serves to keep the ice container off the bottom of the cooler. There is no drain in the cooler. The center storage container can be lifted out and melt water is dumped as required.
