The best day paddle was around the Long Point cliffs and back. We launched at the town beach ($2 fee for out-of-towners). The wind was calm and the waves were slight, but the Atlantic Ocean swells were 4 to 6 feet. The effect when they ran against the rocks made the day perfect paddling. Photo (11crop17.jpg) shows us approaching the Coast Guard Station and lighthouse. More surf action is in the next page.
