The first 9 photos show John as he continues to paddle his way out of a large swell that broke twice before he got into deeper water. All in all, he probably would do it again if he could. According to him he would do it better the next time. But there was no next time and we paddled around Long Point (photo 03crop20.jpg) and back into the launch beach. There Wayne and Judith rolled a few times to the acclaim of the kids on the beach. We then drove into Twillingate for supper. The harbor and evening were completely calm with temperatures in the low 70's.
