ThisGather to Talk Over Old Times.And, then

Down a Short Stretch of Road, Before

This Couple, not of Our Party, Were Enjoying a Rest on the Warm Ground, But We

Soon Hit a High Trail Skirting a Precipice and We

Rest a Few Moments to Enjoy a Glimpse of the Country under Us

This is a Picture of Canine Enjoyment Caught as We Rest on a High Shelf

But, All Relax for a Minute or Two

Some Sit, and Some Stand Until its Time to go Again

First Off is This Group

And, Then This Group

Some Linger for a While to Discuss This and That, But

Trails End, and the Appeasement of Sharp Appetites

Bring Our Hike to a Close

The Staffs Carried Here Were

Later Used to Make a Handrail Over One of the Watery Spots


No Here we Are Right Here. A Little Discussion About the Map.

Log Bridges Over the Watery Spots Provided a Test for Nerves

Not Quite a Vertical Drop, but Enough to Make One Cautious

So Deep.Just a Mere Drop of a Couple of Hundred Feet

Over a Divide with One Lone Stunted Pine Growing Out of the Rock

Looking Over Long Pond.Still with a Covering of Ice

A Bit of Long Pond in the Distance and a Portion of Ell Pond Below

Helen’s Baths.Proves to be a Popular Spot.Some Quench Their Thirst

You Also Get a Face Wash with Your Drink. Witness John Hudson Wiping his Face

Line Forms on the Left, Please

A Moment’s Respite Atop One of the High Ledges

As the Sun Sinks in the West, the Last Group Strides into ButtonwoodsHike’s End
